Toddlers & Older Students
Children ages 18 months through 7 years are welcome in our program.
Toddler Program
The Montessori toddler classroom is a wonderful place. Little ones have a safe and fun place to start to learn about the world. During our day the children will grow and learn using the wonderful Montessori Materials. They will learn how to share and care for others in our daily routine of class time, snack time, outdoor play, music and lunch with friends. All toddlers eat lunch at school. Children who stay for our afternoon session will rest and arise to have more outdoor play and special afternoon class time and activities. We are happy to assist our toddlers in learning how to toilet independently, along with many other personal care skills that these growing learners will want to know.
Older Students
Older children have more sophisticated minds and better physical control than the toddlers, but they still have some of the same needs. With this group of children who have accomplished independent toileting and are over 34 months old we continue to guide them along the path of discovery using Montessori Materials. These students progress through the phonic sounds until they are reading and have moved through the math materials until they are doing addition and subtraction.
Older children can join us for Before and After School Care.
Before School Care is from 7:00am-9:00am
After School Care is from 3:00pm-5:30pm
All of our students develop a great sense of independence and love for learning that will last them throughout their lives. Montessori education is an investment for your child’s lifetime!
